ChartmatePro - Tennis Charting for PalmOS

The ultimate edge for tennis players, parents and coaches.

We are proud to present to you ChartmatePro, developed by players, parents and coaches for players, parents and coaches. ChartmatePro is the ultimate tennis charting program that we researched and developed with two aims in mind:
1. to gather objective accurate information that will benefit tennis players of all standards and their coaches.
2. to be easy to use so that it enables immediate access to important data - "facts at your fingertips" - whether about yourself or your opponent.

To be sure that our program is applicable to all standards of play we tested and researched it with players from the grassroots level right through to Davis Cup and Grand Slam performers. We liaised with local players, coaches, Davis Cup teams, through to Wimbledon champions and their coaches.

Available for the full range of increasingly popular and affordable PalmOS devices, ChartmatePro is the mobile solution for anyone who wants to improve their game.

Crucial Factors

ChartMate PRO has a lot of flexibility built into it. We included a function called "crucial factors" which allows a user to set their own variables to be charted. When Sven Groenveld was working with Greg Rusedski, he used ChartMatePro to chart the service return location of Pete Sampras. Sven wanted to know when Sampras returned the ball so he could advise Greg of where he would play his first volley. The rest is history, Greg defeated Sampras in the Paris Indoor final in 1998 in straight sets by "knowing" the part of the court to which Sampras preferred to hit his return of serve. Greg was there waiting for the volley.

Drawn and Courted

It is possible to draw sketches of points and to view these using ChartMatePro's "Court" function. This feature is generally used to illustrate a particular characteristic about a player that you noted during the match. For example, you might observe that a player has difficulty hitting high, loopy backhands that have a lot of topspin on them. You might draw a picture of this indicating the location of the ball on the court that proved difficult for the player. This is another example of ChartmatePro's winning edge technology.
